Netgear Orbi RBK23 Setup
Netgear Orbi RBK23 is a mesh wifi system which is designed to provide better WiFi coverage in your home. This system comes with two satellites and one router. In this guide, I will provide instructions on how to set up the Netgear Orbi RBK23 Setup system. I will also include some tips on how to get the best performance from this system.
Netgear Orbi RBK23 Router Setup
- Place the Orbi router in the middle of your home and plug it into an outlet.
- Plug the satellite in close to where you want to extend your Wi-Fi coverage and plug it into an outlet.
- The LED on the front of the router will turn solid white, and then start pulsing white when it’s ready to be set up. You can also press the Sync button on top of the router to make it start pulsing.
- Download the Orbi app for iOS or Android and create an account or sign in if you already have one.
- Open the app and follow its instructions to connect your Orbi system.

Netgear Orbi RBK23 Satellite Setup
The first step is to find a place for the Orbi satellite. It’s best to have it in an open area with a clear line of sight to the Orbi router.
Once you’ve found a spot, remove the stand from the bottom of the satellite and plug in the power cord. Then, use an Ethernet cable to connect the satellite to one of the four Ethernet ports on the back of the Orbi router.
Finally, press and hold down the Sync button on top of the satellite until it blinks white. This will sync it with your Orbi system.

- Plug the Orbi router into an outlet and wait for the LED to turn solid blue.
- Plug the Ethernet cable from your modem into the yellow Internet port on the back of the Orbi router.
- Connect your computer to one of the four Ethernet ports on the back of the Orbi router using an Ethernet cable.
- Open a web browser and type orbilogin.com .
- Enter admin for username and password for password, then click Log In .
- Click on Basic Settings under Router Status .
- Under WAN Connection Type , select Automatic IP Address Configuration and click Save .

- First and foremost, you will need to have a Netgear Orbi router and satellite.
- Once you have the router and satellite, connect the router to your modem using an Ethernet cable.
- Next, power on the Orbi router and satellite and wait for them to boot up completely (this should take around 5 minutes).
- Once they are booted up, you will need to open a web browser and go to http://orbilogin.com .
- Login with the username “admin” and password “password”.
6. Click on Setup in the top menu bar and then choose Basic Home Network Setup from the list.
Netgear Orbi RBK23 Login
To login to your Netgear Orbi RBK23 router, follow these steps:1. Enter your router’s IP address into a web browser. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
- Enter the username and password for your router. Your default login username is the admin and the default login password is the password.
- Click the Login button to access your router’s interface.
- Once you’re logged in, you can begin configuring your router settings as desired.

Netgear Orbi RBK23 Update Firmware
To update the firmware on your Netgear Orbi RBK23, you will need to first download the firmware file to your computer. Next, open up the admin page for your Orbi router by typing in 192.168.1.1 into your web browser’s address bar. Log in with the username and password that you set up when you first set up your Orbi router.
Once you are logged in, go to the “Maintenance” tab and then click on “Firmware Upgrade.” Click on “Browse” and select the firmware file that you downloaded to your computer earlier. Click on “Upload” and wait for the firmware upgrade to finish. Once it is complete.
